Total US Electricity consumption is relatively stable at 4.2 Trillion KWH for last few years.
Coal share declined to 20% from 37% in 2012 while Natural Gas and renewables share has increased

By july 2022, renewables account for 23.1% share and non-fossil (low carbon) share is 41%
